Connie Dimas

Connie Dimas Jewellery was born from an unexpected journey. Growing up with a shoemaker father and dressmaker mother, Connie first pursued academics, studying Science and Mathematics at the University of NSW. But it was a chance encounter with jewellery-making that changed everything. Enrolling in Jewellery and Object Design at Enmore Design Centre in Sydney, Connie discovered her true passion.

At the heart of Connie’s work is the joy of creation and the personal connection it brings. Connie has built a practice rooted in craftsmanship, storytelling, and authenticity. Every piece is designed to be effortlessly wearable, inspired by mythology, nature, and traditional techniques – jewellery that adds elegance and meaning to everyday life.

The owl – the brand’s logo – reflects this philosophy. In ancient mythology, the owl symbolised Athena, goddess of wisdom, strategy, and guardian of artisans and craftspeople. For Connie Dimas Jewellery, it represents art as a witness to life – milestones and memories preserved in objects that can be cherished and passed on.

Sustainability has been central to the brand from the beginning. All collections are made using recycled silver and gold wherever possible, right down to catching fine metal dust (lemel) for reuse. Old materials are remelted and repurposed into new designs, while precious and semi-precious stones are given new life in fresh settings. Connie also avoids unsustainable materials like resin, embraces recyclable and minimal packaging. Every piece created at Connie Dimas Jewellery is made to last, handcrafted with care, and deeply rooted in the belief that jewellery is more than adornment – it is a reflection of life itself.
