Daria Fox

Rooted in a Sicilian family steeped in ritual, superstition and “secret women’s business”, Daria Fox creates jewellery that is meant to do more than adorn. Fascinated by the long-held relationship between humans and ornament — especially the mystical power of amulets and talismans — she designs pieces that speak to protection, meaning and everyday ritual.

Working from her sunlit studio in the Dandenong Ranges, Melbourne/Naarm, Daria blends traditional gold and silversmithing with contemporary design. Her practice spans lost-wax casting and hand fabrication, pairing precious metals with enamel and carefully chosen gemstones. Simple, playful forms and considered bursts of colour keep the work effortlessly joyful, while each material is selected for its symbolism and protective properties. Many designs echo the power of three, a motif used for its protective significance.

Every piece is imagined as wearable art — crafted with intention, and made to carry a story for its wearer.
