Jane Finch

At Jane Finch, timeless design meets thoughtful craftsmanship. Each piece is created with intention – to celebrate life’s moments, milestones, and memories. Whether it’s a simple stacking ring or a custom engagement piece, every design is made to feel truly personal, never mass-produced.

From a sunny studio in Laverton North, Melbourne (Naarm), Steph – the heart and hands behind Jane Finch – designs and handcrafts each piece using recycled precious metals and ethically sourced gemstones from around the world. With a focus on quality and sustainability, the goal is simple: to create jewellery that is produced slowly, thoughtfully, and always with you in mind.

Sustainability and ethics sit at the heart of Jane Finch. Working in small batches and following a made-to-order model helps minimise waste and allows Steph to create jewellery that’s not just beautiful, but responsible too. Every design is crafted using high-quality recycled precious metals from local refiners, and gemstones are sourced from suppliers who offer transparent trade. Their stock is chosen with care to minimise environmental impact while supporting ethical practices during the mining process. Many gemstones are sourced directly from Australian miners who hand-mine with respect for the land, leaving as little impact as possible on the environment. Some of the standout stones from these miners include opals, sapphires, and zircons – valued not only for their beauty, but also for their integrity.

Beyond creating jewellery, Steph shares the craft through hands-on workshops in Melbourne. From beginners learning wax carving in small classes to couples crafting their own wedding rings, these sessions celebrate the joy of making something meaningful with your own hands.

Every piece at Jane Finch tells a story – crafted with care, guided by values, and made to carry meaning for a lifetime.
